Public pages only, one at a time
Free, up to 30 requests per 10 minutes per visitor.
Public only, entered by you
Snoei only reads pages that anyone can see without logging in, and only the address you enter. It skips login pages.
No email addresses or phone numbers
Snoei refuses to collect them. Links to mailto: and tel: are only counted, never shown or exported.
Copyright stays
Texts, tables and images belong to whoever made them. Use them to check or to quote with a source, not to copy.
One page at a time
No crawling of whole sites. Snoei reads what you give, at most checks the links or language versions of that one page, follows robots.txt and keeps the pace low.
How it works
Make an RSS feed in three steps
Paste the address
Of a page with a list of posts: news, blog, events or jobs.
Pick the posts
Snoei suggests blocks that repeat, with a preview. Or type a simple CSS selector yourself, such as article or li.news.
Follow the feed
Copy the feed address into your feed reader, or download the XML file. The feed address reads the page at most once an hour.
Questions
Good to know
How often does Snoei read the page for my feed?
At most once an hour. In between, your feed reader gets the previous result. That keeps it polite for the site.
What is a CSS selector?
A short description of which blocks you mean, such as article (every article) or li.news (every list item with the class news). Snoei suggests some itself; picking one is usually enough.
Can I copy a site’s content this way?
A feed gives titles and links, so you know when something new appears and read it at the source. The posts themselves still belong to the site.
